Cloth cap and ferret?

My research on my family line recently took me to Silkstone, near Barnsley. In the 11thC church building, amongst a host of fascinating items, I found a tribute to a man whose name I had known, but had almost forgotten. If you take time to read through the text on this board, you will see that there was more to Barnsley lads than playing ‘nipsy’ or ‘knurr and spell’.
