Specialists – in generalising?

Re-posted with a hat-tip to ‘The Slog’

Vallance and Whitty’s ordeal at the hands of the Science and Technology sub-committee may have seemed to the untrained eye like a dull affair, but it was riddled with clear evidence of contradiction and amateurism.

Both men were forced to accept some startling things. Whether many of our MPs will spot them is another matter, but I at least shall record them here.

The most remarkable fact to emerge was what both witnesses agreed was “the very low level of infection transmitted outdoors”. The answer was given in response to a question about inter-school football games being cancelled; but the ramifications of it are mind-blowing.

One of the very few things I have accepted since the February 2020 period about Covid19 is that is has been billed by almost all experts as ‘fifteen times more infectious than influenza‘.

Are these self-styled science-promoters now telling us that this is wrong? And if outdoors is not the main source of infection, then research does indeed suggest that the only other place is indoors.

So why are we being locked down in the one environment where (it now seems) Covid spreads with consummate ease?

Another breathtaking admission came from Sir Mark Vallance a few minutes minutes later, when he said, “we don’t actually know the NHS’s bed capacity, because that is their modelling copyright”. Yet these are the team leaders who gave the media earlier this week an exact date – December 4th – when the NHS would ‘run out of bed capacity’. So how on earth could they know that?

I saw little evidence of any reputation-seeking legislator pressing the Dubious Duo on either of these points.

Vallance came across as far more dismissive of attacks based on what he seemed to see as low-level detail. He observed, “Look, we’re not being asked to know every stat on outdoor tranmission” and Whitty nodded, adding “Scientific investigation is not a yes-no thing”.

Well guys, trust me: ‘Full up by December 4th” is a yes-no thing.

Meanwhile, Chris Whitty made several attempts to excuse himself on the basis of modelling being an inexact science….and sound almost humble in his realisation of model shortcomings. In doing so, he managed only to come across as casual – even sloppy – in his use of the words ‘might’, ‘could’, ‘theoretically’, ‘imponderables’ and ‘likelihoods’.

What these two very senior advisers are in the business of doing is making futurology look and sound like science. In fact – certainly based on my own professional experience of models – it’s quackery.

Sir Mark Vallance really gave the game away by saying, “What five organisations have done is model outcomes against a series of assumptions”.

All of them gave a different answer – imagine that? – and thus, they took a mean number. Presenting this as a bona fide conclusion is not science in any shape or form: it’s an illusionist’s card trick.

The fundamental weakness of models is the flaw in one or more of their assumptions. It’s why all the climate models are wrong, and why Neil Ferguson has been so wildly wrong four times in a row over eighteen years….and has cost the country some £28 billion.

The ham-fisted alchemy of it all went on and on. Sir Mark conceded that the models didn’t factor in all of the data about the new 3-tiered system – a system he and his colleagues dismissed at the time as “woefully insufficient” – but which today Chris Whitty was forced to accept may well have had a positive effect.

Whitty blithely went on to tell committee members (via absurd video-distancing links) that “reaching the peak which we reached in April strikes me as an entirely realistic situation” for the new models to project. Nobody asked the question how he could say that, given the titanic difference in alleged Co-Vid 19 death levels between September/October and the March/April period.

In truth, all the hearings did was confirm what somewhere between 14 and 18% of us have felt since the outset of Contrick19: as a subject of risible hype, it remains unequalled in the annals of historical attempts to churn out nonsense apart from (perhaps) the Rastafarian drivel insisting during the 1970s that Haile Selassi would live forever.

The wooden Coronavirus narrative is riddled with the worm of cognitive dissonance, of “facts” changing from week to week, of counterintuitive insistence, and the blasé rejection of everything we have ever learned about natural resistance.

The simplest example of this is The Mask. See if you can keep a straight face as I unveil a simple piece of logic on the basis of “you can’t have it every which way at once”.

“Masks don’t protect you much” >> “Masks are vital if you want to protect yourself outdoors” >> “Masks work” >> “Most infection doesn’t take place outdoors” >> “If you’re vulnerable, stay at home because Masks alone aren’t enough to protect you”.

Let’s wait and see what Parliament makes of the ‘evidence’ we heard today. Just don’t get your hopes up.

Explaining Digital Currency

For those of you who don’t know me personally I’ve been involved in a specialist aspect of the glass industry for over 40 years, In that time I’ve seen big changes in the way both business and personal finance has been handled.

It is now obvious that, within the next few years, we’ll all be living in a ‘cashless’ world: cheque books? they are becoming as rare as hens’ teeth, first, we were funnelled into using debit/credit cards with PIN numbers, now it’s ‘contactless’ purchasing, together with, as we write this, a convenient ‘virus’ which also separates us from each other socially.

What is happening here is both remarkable and serious.

The COVID-19 ‘virus’ has not arrived by accident. It is one part of a grand plan to fundamentally change society, firstly by scaring us all as if it were the Black Death, then by trying to introduce an unproven  vaccine, – not necessary when only 0.99 % of population is affected, and finally by using this ‘lockdown’ process to get us all corralled and used to purchasing online – without using cash.

Already aware of this, happily, in September I came across a product which can help to improve all of our lives and put every one of us who grasps it into a much better situation financially – as we learn to cope with these social changes – it is an entirely new *decentralized digital currency..

This new digital coin, really brand new, has some important differences to any of the others, and comes with a brilliant set of principles.

The name of the product, (which is still in the development stage), is very small –it’s called Pi (like the mathematical miracle –  = 3.142…) but it does have powerful prospects ahead.

The different thing about Pi is that your own mobile phone is the place where the new  Pi coins are created (it’s called ‘mining’ – like minting coins), and it costs us nothing beyond a little patience and a little battery juice. When the product is finally launched publicly, (that is set for next Spring) there will already be millions of Pi Network members (as of today there are over 9 million) who got our coins when they stood at 0.00 value.

Some of you will already have heard of Bitcoin. The Bitcoin experience was astounding, but it was new and not everyone trusted it. When it first went public, Bitcoin was worth just cents: now, over 10 years later, that same digital, intangible ‘coin’ was this morning valued at more than 11,000 US$ – per coin, and it’s even possible to own tiny percentages of just a single Bitcoin: (of course, other coins are available)…!

However, there were one or two drawbacks to Bitcoin. The number of ‘coins’ ever to be produced was always going to be limited in the code, and those well-heeled souls who could, soon got involved in the minting (MINING) of those coins, using pretty hi-tech machines, all linked up, running continuously and eating up electricity – which is costly.

Pi, on the other hand, is genuine, it is cheap to develop and is designed to be available to very man and woman across the globe who can work a mobile phone.

I’m asking you to look seriously at this new product. I’ve put in a link below to take you to the website, where the project is explained by tapping the 3 parallel white lines at the top left-hand corner of your screen. A drop-down list of 11 topics appears; read them at your leisure.

I have also prepared another pdf sheet, explaining in greater detail how to go about getting started. If you need that bit of extra help, either call me on one of the numbers below or email the address at the foot of the pages.

Pi is a genuine new digital currency, developed by three Stanford PhDs, already with over 9 million members worldwide. These ‘coins’ are here to stay, and there are serious advantages to knowing about them – and acquiring some. Those of us who have understood this trend are already moving to invest into this futuristic ‘money’, not least to ensure that those whom we shall be leaving behind will not be left behind.

To claim your Pi, follow this link –

and use my username – yorkie226 – as your personal invitation code.

*Decentralized – this means without centrally operated banks controlling it; all cryptocurrency works on the principle of literally thousands of computers worldwide, all linked to ensure both complete openness and complete security – the system cannot ever be hacked or hijacked.

Sincerely yours

Grant Smith

Not so dead after all?

Well, folks, what are we to make of this, then?

Around 11.15am this morning I watched a video sent to me by a fellow-warrior which suggests that Osama Bin Laden is far from dead, is in fact alive and well in Iran, whose government is said to have extorted $152bn US from the Obama administration as ‘hush money’. I watched a female reporter relate the entire complex allegation to the anchor-man on NEXT NEWS NETWORK. By 12noon the video is UNAVAILABLE on YouTube. This is what we get now…

Cystic Fibrosis breakthrough: Hancock praises Express readers for wonder drug boost Cystic

‘Cystic Fibrosis breakthrough. Matt Hancock praises Daily Express readers for wonder drug ‘Cystic’

Let’s see, this will be the same political ‘party’ which condones the arrest and detention in a French prison, under a bogus European Arrest Warrant [EAW], of David Noakes and Lyn Thyer. Their ‘offence’? developing a proven CURE for many cancers (following 10 years research and refinement) apparently without ‘permission’. Actually, now with an 89% success rate, this serum treatment COULD CURE 120.000 Stage IV tumours annually, at a cost per course of treatment which is only 1/100th of the regular, unsuccessful radio- and chemo-therapy torture meted out by the ‘big pharma’ moguls, PROVIDED that the patient had not first succumbed to the said mis-treatment.

The Medicines & Healthcare Regulatory Agency [MHRA] have influenced our present government to have our two heroes apprehended; BOTH are now languishing in a foul, overcrowded jail, and you may not now purchase this their CURE in the UK (although another supply route remains open).

Please DO write to them both as per the details below:

David Noakes – Prisonnier No 457501, Fleury Merogis, 7, avenue des peupliers, 91705 Saint-Genevieve-des-bois Cedex France

Lyn Thyer – Prisonnier No 456700 MAF (MAF – means Maison d’Arret des Femmes – the detention of female prisoners) otherwise to the same address. They need to know that we have not forgotten them..

Please DO FEEL FREE to SHARE and PUBLICIZE this scandalous injustice.
